        "Zahlreiche Menschen haben bei der Realisierung der Filme mitgewirkt: Die Filme entstanden in verschiedenen Regionen von Frankreich: In den Gärten der Longo mai Kooperativen und bei mehreren Saatgutproduzenten konnten wir die Kulturen und Methoden zum Dreschen und Reinigen von Saatgut filmen. Die Reise führte uns von den Voralpen der Provence in die Nähe von Nizza, der Crau-Ebene bei Arles, dem Burgund und in die Berge über 1000m im Jura und dem Zentralmassiv. Die Übersetzung in verschiedene Sprachen und die Aufnahmen der Offstimmen konnte dank zahlreicher Hilfe bewerkstelligt werden. Die musikalische Untermalung wurde eigens für die Filme komponiert und arrangiert. Mit ihren schönen Illustrationen und Animationsfilmen unterteilt die Zeichnerin die Filme in Kapitel und schafft Verständnis für wichtige theoretische Aspekte der Saatgutvermehrung. Aber all dies wäre wohl ohne die phantastischen Aufnahmen der Kamerafrau und ihren Gehilf_innen nicht zu dem geworden was es heute ist: eine wunderschöne und aufschlussreiche Filmothek der Samengärtnerei."
