Andrea Heistinger is an Austrian agronomist. Her favorite subjects are the selection of plants in organic farming, the vernacular knowledge of farmers and gardeners, the place of women in agriculture. She studied agriculture at BOKU, the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna. She has published several books and numerous articles. For example, the Rouergue publishing house published “Semences potagères, le manuel pour les produire soi-même”, in 2015.
